MATTRESS CARE GUIDE
Things to do (and not to do) when setting up your Sealy mattress for the first time:
Give your new sleep set some time to “air” upon removal from its plastic packaging.
Carry your mattress flat on its side for easier handling and to avoid any possible damages.
Keep your bedding clean. Use a mattress pad to ensure that your warranty will stay in effect.
Use a Sealy boxspring as support to keep your mattress from sagging.
Use an appropriate frame and center support for queen and king size mattresses.
Rotate your mattress occasionally from head to toe, to prolong its comfort and support life.
DON’T remove the law tag label at the end of the mattress. This serves as a means of identification to establish your warranty rights, in the rare event any service needs arises.
DON’T smoke in bed.
DON’T use dry cleaning fluid of any type on your mattress. These chemicals will damage some of the construction materials.
DON’T allow your mattress to get wet. Some of the upholstery materials may compress.
DON’T place a board between your mattress and foundation. Your sleep set is designed as an integrated system to provide you with proper support, and the foundation plays an important role.
DON’T bend or flip your Sealy mattress because all units supplied are one-sided
